Prof. İmrán Aslan holds the position of Professor at Bingöl University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Health Management since April 2025. Previously, he served as Associate Professor in the same department from 2020–2025 and in the Occupational Health and Safety Department from 2018–2020. His academic journey includes roles at Erzincan University and Istanbul Civilization University, with a focus on business administration and industrial engineering. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Numerical Methods) from Atatürk University and an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Marmara University.
Education highlights include a German technical management program (FH/OOW) and a bachelor's in engineering. His research spans occupational health and safety, healthcare systems optimization, and pandemic-related mental health. He has supervised 2 PhD theses, including studies on healthcare workers' mental health and occupational accidents in electricity distribution sectors.
Prof. Aslan has authored over 60 peer-reviewed articles in journals like Frontiers in Public Health and Journal of Clinical Medicine, focusing on topics such as social media addiction, pandemic mental health, and occupational safety systems. He contributes to international conferences as a keynote speaker and session chair, addressing digital transformation and crisis management. Awards include TÜBİTAK research incentives and scholarships.
Teaching responsibilities include courses like Epidemiology, Healthcare Management, and Risk Management in Health Institutions. He actively participates in editorial boards of journals like Marketing and Management of Innovations and has co-authored books on occupational health sectoral management and Industry 4.0 applications. His research also explores halal food systems, women entrepreneurship, and agri-food innovations.
