Øyvind Andre Fosse is an Associate Professor of Pedagogy at NLA University College Kalfaret, Bergen. His work focuses on curriculum theory, educational philosophy, and religious education within Christian faith schools in Norway.

His research examines how Christian independent schools balance faith communication with promoting critical thinking and student autonomy. Key areas include:

- Students' perspectives on religious pedagogy
- Curriculum development in private Christian schools
Current projects include a 2025 survey of 9th-grade students at Kristne Friskolers Forbund (KFF) schools, with a research report and academic articles planned. He is also preparing a book for Routledge's International Studies in the Philosophy of Education series (2026 release).
Fosse teaches Pedagogikk og elevkunnskap (PEL) across 2nd to 5th study years and serves as cycle coordinator for the first three years of teacher education. His dissemination work includes media contributions to Dag og Tid, CNE News, and Forskersonen.
