Dr. Öznur ADADIOĞLU is a Lecturer at the Department of Nursing Communication within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Sakarya University. Her research focuses on chronic disease management, patient self-efficacy, epilepsy care, hypertension, diabetes, and nursing education. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals such as Brain and Behavior, Epilepsy & Behavior, and Turkish Clinics Journal of Nursing Sciences.
Her work includes studies on patient attitudes toward epilepsy, validation of healthcare assessment tools (e.g., Acute Stroke Management Questionnaire), and nursing professionalism. She has also contributed to textbooks on topics like functional medicine in chronic diseases and symptom management in nursing.
Dr. ADADIOĞLU has presented over 20 research findings at international and national conferences, including analyses of workplace incivility perceptions and cultural intelligence in nursing students. She teaches courses such as Internal Medicine Nursing, Physiology, and Emergency Care at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Her administrative roles include deanship assistant positions at Selçuk University and organizing workshops on topics like qualitative research methods and nursing leadership. She actively contributes to healthcare initiatives addressing patient education, hospital infection prevention, and evidence-based nursing practices.
