Étienne Doublier

Étienne Doublier is a Professor of Medieval History at the University of Cologne, holding a chair focused on the High Middle Ages and Basic Historical Sciences. He is actively engaged in research, teaching, and academic leadership within the Historical Institute of the Faculty of Humanities. His scholarly profile is marked by a deep engagement with diplomatics, papal history, and regional medieval studies, particularly in Italy and the Lower Rhine.
