Éric Lavoie is a full Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Université de Sherbrooke's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Since 1998, he has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of the Postdoctoral Pediatrics Program (1994–1998), Royal College Examiner (2000–2010), and Vice-Dean of Undergraduate Medical Studies since 2021. He oversees a program committed to training physicians who are competent, humanistic, and responsive to evolving community needs, aligned with Canadian medical accreditation standards.
