Éric Fortin

Éric Fortin is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Montreal, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Ophthalmology. His research focuses on Ophthalmology, the Visual System, and applications of Medical Sciences and Health Sciences to ocular health.

He is associated with the CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'Île-de-Montréal – Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR) and the Vision Health Research Network (RRSV). In 2021-2022, he contributed to a project titled Méta-génomique diagnostique de liquides oculaires as a co-researcher, focusing on diagnostic metagenomics of ocular fluids.
