Çağla ŞEKERCİ DAMCI

Dr. Lecturer Çağla ŞEKERCİ DAMCI is affiliated with Doğuş University's Vocational School, Department of Civil Engineering Technology, since 2025. She previously served as a Research Assistant at the same university (2017-2025). Her academic journey includes a PhD in Civil Engineering (2024), Master's (2018), and Bachelor's (2014) degrees from Istanbul University.

Her work integrates image processing techniques in structural analysis and low-cost seismic simulation devices.

Recent publications examine pounding between adjacent buildings, seismic performance of shear frames, and calibration methods for shake tables. Articles are published in high-impact journals like Natural Hazards, Experimental Techniques, and Journal of Building Engineering, often in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Scientific contributions include grants from TÜBİTAK 1002-C and Istanbul University's Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit. She teaches foundational courses in construction technology, computer applications in civil engineering, and steel structures.
