de Visser Karin

Karin de Visser is a Group Leader at the Division of Tumor Biology & Immunology, Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam, since October 2015. She has held academic positions including Junior Group Leader (tenure track) in the Division of Immunology (2012-2015), Research Staff Associate (2008-2012), and Postdoctoral Fellow (2003-2005). Her research focuses on tumor immunology, inflammation-cancer interactions, and immunotherapy.

Research Interests: Tumor immunology, inflammation-cancer crosstalk, innate/adaptive immune cell interactions, breast cancer metastasis, transgenic mouse models, tumor microenvironment, and immunotherapy.
