Chris Richards is a Professor in the Department of Animal & Food Sciences at Oklahoma State University since 2017. He holds a PhD in Animal Sciences from the University of Kentucky (1999), an MS in Animal Sciences from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (1996), and a BS in Animal Sciences from Texas A&M University (1992). His research focuses on beef cattle genetics, feed/water efficiency, methane emissions, and health management , with significant contributions to climate adaptation strategies and sustainable livestock production.
