Oliver Posegga is an interim Chair of Information Systems and Social Networks at the University of Bamberg and a principal investigator for the Volkswagen Foundation -funded project "Communicative Power in Hybrid Media Systems." He serves as a visiting scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management's Center for Collective Intelligence and leads the Department of Business Informatics, especially Social Networks since 2020.
