His work integrates molecular identification techniques and postharvest treatment strategies, emphasizing biodiversity and resistance breeding in plant pathology. Projects: He coordinated two major initiatives: 1) Chronology of Phytopathogenic Fungi on Species of Special Importance in Croatian Flora (MZOS-funded, 2007–2013), and 2) Research on Less-Known Fig Pathogens in Croatia (University of Zagreb, 2014). These projects highlight his focus on pathogen characterization and sustainable agricultural practices. Labs & Collaborations: Prof. Miličević contributes to the Division for Phytomedicine and has collaborated with institutions like the Fruit Tree Research Center in Rome and the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade . His international engagements span Serbia, Italy, and beyond, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to plant health.
