Alex Endert is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Operations and Special Initiatives in the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech. He directs the Visual Analytics Lab, focusing on interactive visual tools to aid in analyzing data and AI systems. His research addresses domains like cybersecurity, manufacturing safety, and intelligence analysis, supported by NSF, DOD, and industry grants. He holds a PhD from Virginia Tech (2012), winning top dissertation awards. His lab develops systems like SafetyLens and CAVA, and explores AI ethics in education and human trafficking contexts.
