Roee Shraga is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department and Data Science program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). He previously held a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the Data Lab within Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Shraga’s research focuses on Data Integration, Data Discovery, Human-in-the-loop Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, and Large Language Models (LLMs). His work bridges data management, machine learning, and human-computer interaction to improve data quality in AI systems.
Recent publications include advancements in LLM-driven data integration, semantic table union search, and contrastive entity resolution. Key contributions include the Explain-Da-V framework for semantic data versioning and FlexER for intent-aware entity resolution.
