Lars Lindholm is a Professor in Health Economics at the Department of Epidemiology and Global Health, Umeå Universitet. His research focuses on equity in health economic evaluation, the application of epidemiological data in healthcare resource distribution, and the development of capability-adjusted life-years (CALYs) as a health measurement tool. He holds a Docent qualification and is affiliated with the Norrlands universitetssjukhus in Umeå. Research interests include health-related quality of life metrics, cost-effectiveness analysis, and global health interventions. Notable projects involve evaluating preventive measures for type 2 diabetes, rheumatic heart disease, and breast cancer treatment strategies.
