Mümtaz Dadalı is an Associate Professor (Doçent) in the Department of Surgical Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Turkey. Specializing in Urology, he has been actively contributing to academic medicine since 2012 when he joined as a Doctoral Academician, advancing to Associate Professor in 2023. His clinical and research work focuses on endourology, urological surgery, and medical ethics.
Dr. Dadalı completed his medical education at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine (1991-1997), followed by specialization training at Ankara Training and Research Hospital (2001-2006). He further expanded his expertise by earning a PhD in Medical Ethics and History from Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences in 2019.
His research interests span multiple areas of urology including endourology, kidney stone management, genitourinary trauma, sexual function disorders, and male infertility. Dr. Dadalı has made significant contributions to understanding retrograde intrarenal surgery outcomes, obturator nerve block techniques for bladder tumor surgeries, and the expression of biomarkers in prostate conditions. His work bridges clinical practice with academic research, particularly in developing improved surgical techniques and understanding treatment outcomes.
Dr. Dadalı's scientific contributions include over 80 publications with significant citation impact (h-index of 6). His recent work shows a strong focus on endourological procedures, surgical techniques for urinary incontinence, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on urological research and practice. He has been particularly active in comparative studies of different lithotripsy techniques and surgical approaches for urological conditions.

Dr. Dadalı has supervised at least one PhD student (Ramazan Samet Çetinkaya) and has been involved in multiple research projects, including current studies on androgen receptor polymorphisms in hypospadias patients and microbial communities in kidney stones. He serves on the Clinical Research Ethics Committee at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and has previously held positions on the Faculty Management Board and Faculty Board.
As an active member of multiple professional organizations including the Endourology Association, Urological Surgery Association, Child Urology Association, European Urology Association, and Turkish Urology Association, Dr. Dadalı maintains strong connections with the international urology community.
