Professor Mario Brito is a Professor of Risk Analysis and Risk Management at the University of Southampton, leading the Department as Head. His work bridges statistics, science, and engineering, with a focus on complex systems such as autonomous vehicles, maritime operations, and healthcare systems. He holds a PhD from the University of Bristol and has extensive industry experience, including roles at BAe Systems and the National Oceanography Centre (NOC).
