Recent publications reveal a strong emphasis on integrating environmental and economic objectives through multi-criteria decision frameworks. His 2023-2025 output demonstrates increasing attention to climate change adaptation, carbon economics, and participatory management approaches, with significant contributions to forest ecosystem service valuation using contingent valuation and travel cost methods across multiple countries including Iran, Kazakhstan, and Sweden. As an educator, Limaei teaches microeconomics for industrial engineering students, environmental economics at master's level, and has instructed PhD courses in environmental valuation. He actively serves as a journal reviewer and editorial board member while maintaining strong international research collaborations evident in his extensive co-authorship network across Europe and Asia.
