Dr Carol Smith is a Lecturer (Scholarship) in the Business School at the University of Aberdeen. She leads the design, development, delivery, assessment, and administration of undergraduate and postgraduate courses delivered on campus, online, and overseas in Qatar. Her teaching spans semester and block placement courses, with coordination roles in key subjects such as Research Practice, Managing Organisations, Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Managing HR. Her academic journey includes international experience in South Africa, Ghana, Germany, and Scotland. In South Africa, she played a pivotal role in the accreditation of Durban University of Technology and established its Institutional Research Ethics Committee.
