Jeremy Cornes is a Drum and Percussion Coordinator and Orchestral Timpani and Percussion Tutor at the London College of Music, University of West London. His musical education was obtained at the Royal College of Music under Alan Cumberland, Michael Skinner, and Kevin Hathway. Over his career, he has performed with major orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, and Britten Sinfonia, holding principal roles with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe since 1983, the John Wilson Orchestra for six years, and the City of London Sinfonia. He has appeared in over 29 seasons at the Glyndebourne Festival Opera and toured internationally. His extensive experience includes collaborations with the BBC Symphony and Concert Orchestras, English National Ballet, Royal Northern Sinfonia, and contributions to recordings in orchestral, operatic, and West End productions like Les Misérables and Guys ‘n Dolls .
