Approximately 78% of his published research involves international collaborations, reflecting his strong global network. His work has practical applications, having informed policies of a company in the mining industry and supported the WA Health Department to monitor the health and well-being of the mining industry during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Asiamah-Asare has been involved in internationally funded projects including those supported by the EU's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme. His research findings have been presented as part of scientific communications with tangible policy impacts. He has developed strong national and international networks, connections with industry, and collaborations with researchers from top-ranked Universities/Institutions worldwide. His teaching experience includes previous roles as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba (Ghana), where he taught and supervised students in undergraduate public health courses. He has also worked as a research assistant in cardiovascular diseases at the National Cardiothoracic Centre, Accra (Ghana), providing him with valuable clinical research experience that informs his current work in population health.
