Jakob Ejler Sørensen is a Researcher and Scientific Floor Manager in the Surface Physics and Catalysis research group within the Department of Physics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He completed his PhD in February 2021 with a thesis titled "Mass-Selected Model System Characterization in Catalysis: Rastered deposition, LEIS and TPD" under the supervision of Chorkendorff, I. (Main Supervisor) & Kibsgaard, J. His research on intermetallic alloying effects has provided new insights into designing more efficient catalysts for sustainable energy conversion. His work demonstrates strong collaborative relationships with leading researchers at DTU, particularly within the Catalysis group. As Scientific Floor Manager, Dr. Sørensen oversees laboratory facilities and equipment within the Surface Physics and Catalysis group, bridging technical operations with advanced research activities.
