Anders Hylmö is an Associate Senior Lecturer at Halmstad University's School of Business, Innovation and Sustainability. He holds a PhD in Sociology from Lund University and is a research fellow at the R-QUEST Center (NIFU, Oslo) and affiliated with SWINNO at Lund University's Department of Economic History. His research focuses on the interplay between organizational structures and epistemic practices in science, particularly in economics and innovation studies. Notably, his PhD thesis Disciplined Reasoning (2018) analyzed disciplinary identity formation in economics and received the Katrin Fridjonsdottir Memorial Prize. His recent articles examine topics like academic ranking cultures, institutional impacts of research centers, and historical trajectories of innovative firms. Collaborations span Nordic universities and industry partners, with a focus on sustainability transitions and policy impacts.
