Juhyeon Ahn is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering , University of Wyoming . He leads the Ahn Research Group , focusing on electrochemical energy storage technologies , including lithium-ion , sodium-ion , and solid-state batteries . Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Yonsei University Project Scientist (2024) and Postdoctoral Researcher (2023-2019), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Korea Institute of Science and Technology His research integrates novel materials discovery , advanced characterization techniques (e.g., synchrotron X-ray, microscopy), and data-driven methodologies to address energy storage challenges. Key areas include cathode material optimization and surface modification strategies for enhanced battery performance. Recent publications highlight trends in high-energy-density batteries , fluorination techniques , and stepped layered titanates .
