Sema Salur is a Full Professor of Mathematics at the University of Rochester since 2016, previously serving as Associate Professor (2009–2016) within the Department of Mathematics at the School of Arts and Sciences. She holds a PhD from Michigan State University (2000) and has held visiting positions at Princeton University (2013, 2019), Harvard University (2016), MSRI (2004–2007, 2016), and Cornell University (2015 as Ruth I.
