Tongcang Li is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Physics at Purdue University, affiliated with the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He holds joint appointments at the Birck Nanotechnology Center and the Purdue Quantum Science and Engineering Institute. His research focuses on quantum photonics, optomechanics, and quantum sensing, with breakthroughs in levitated nanoscale systems and Casimir effects.
