Dr. Huaxiang Fu is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Arkansas' College of Arts & Sciences, where he has been since 2002. His research focuses on first-principles computational studies of bulk and nanomaterials, particularly ferroelectric materials, quantum dots, and organic-inorganic hybrid materials.

His work often employs density functional theory and computational modeling to explore polarization behavior, strain effects, and electronic structure.
