Dr Kyung Wook Seo is an Associate Professor and Head of Education at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment at Northumbria University, UK. His expertise spans residential building design, urban morphology, and environmental behavior. He has led international projects such as the National Research Foundation-funded 'Social Housing Design in the Post-Pandemic Era' (2022–25) and contributed to sustainable housing initiatives in Malaysia and Korea. Seo holds editorial roles at the Journal of Housing and Built Environment and Frontiers in Psychology , and was a JSPS Invitational Fellow (2023). His academic journey includes a PhD from UCL Bartlett, and prior roles as Head of Department at Kyonggi University and architect at Daewoo Construction and Wendel-Duchscherer Architects.
