Brad Carter is a Professor and Dean (Research Infrastructure) at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), serving as Director of the Centre for Astrophysics within the Institute for Advanced Engineering and Space Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of Queensland (Qld) and has led the development of USQ’s astronomical and space sciences programs, including the Mt Kent Observatory. His research focuses on stellar astrophysics, planetary science, and exoplanet discovery, contributing to over 40 exoplanet discoveries and advancing Zeeman Doppler Imaging techniques.
