Ron C. Chiang is an Associate Professor at the University of St. Thomas, specializing in software engineering, distributed systems, and cloud computing. His research focuses on optimizing virtualization, resource management, and high-performance architectures. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from George Washington University and has contributed to advancements in cloud security, I/O prefetching, and precision agriculture through machine learning.
