Dr. Emre Çelebi is a Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Yeditepe University's Faculty of Engineering. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo (2011) and has previously served as a Doctoral Lecturer at Kadir Has University (2012–2020). PhD: University of Waterloo, Management Sciences (2011) MSc: University of Waterloo, Management Sciences (2006) BSc: Istanbul Technical University, Management Engineering (2001) His research focuses on industrial engineering, operations research, and optimization models for electricity markets and supply chains. Key areas include tacit collusion detection, energy policy, market equilibrium, and low-carbon transitions. Recent publications analyze trilevel optimization for collusion prevention (2024), Γ-robust electricity market models (2023), and GENeSYS-MOD scenarios for Turkey's energy future (2022). Trends show interdisciplinary work in energy economics, game theory, and policy simulation. 2012 Eğitmen Ödülü, Kadir Has University He advises graduate students in topics like electricity price forecasting, hydrogen storage for energy markets, and data science applications in energy systems. Current projects include EU-funded S-PARCS and OpenENTRANCE initiatives for sustainable energy transitions.
