Natalie Warburton is an Associate Professor in Zoology at Murdoch University, Australia, affiliated with the Harry Butler Institute and the School of Medical, Molecular and Forensic Sciences, College of Environmental and Life Sciences. She holds a PhD in Zoology (University of Western Australia, 2004), a BSc(Hons) in Zoology (UWA, 1998), and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Murdoch University, 2002). Dr. Warburton has received awards such as the Vice Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (2015) and Senior Fellow status from Advance HE (2017). She actively engages in public science communication through podcasts (e.g., 'Aussie Wildlife Show', 'Palaeo Jam') and documentaries (e.g., ABC Catalyst's 'Megafauna').
