Kyusang Lee is an Associate Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering departments at the University of Virginia. His research focuses on optoelectronic devices, neuromorphic computing, and smart sensors, emphasizing applications in solar energy conversion and flexible electronics. He holds a B.S. from Korea University (2005), M.S. from Johns Hopkins University (2009), and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan (2014). He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan and MIT. His work bridges materials science and device engineering to advance energy-efficient optoelectronics and bioinspired systems.
