Satu Kajander-Unkuri is a university lecturer at the University of Tampere, Faculty of Social Sciences, and holds the title of Docent in Health Pedagogy at the University of Turku. She leads the RENE (Research in Nursing Education) group and has conducted extensive research on nurse competence during graduation and early career stages, including her flagship COMPEUnurse project across six European countries. Her current research explores Generation Z healthcare students' educational needs and workforce management strategies. Research Interests : Her work focuses on nursing competence development, clinical learning environments, and pandemic impacts on graduate nurses. She employs cross-sectional studies, scale validation, and longitudinal analysis to assess educational outcomes.
