Prof. Dr. Teresa A. Dickler serves as Professor of Sustainability Management at Philipps University of Marburg within the Department of Economics. She leads the Sustainability Management working group (AG Dickler) and maintains an active presence in both teaching and research activities at the university. Her research focuses on strategic resource allocation in multi-business organizations, corporate sustainability practices, and decision-making processes within firms. Professor Dickler examines how organizations manage resources across different business units, the strategic implications of CEO temporal focus, and the relationship between sustainability practices and business performance. Her recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on strategic management questions, particularly regarding resource redeployment mechanisms and flexibility in complex organizational structures. The publications reveal a methodological approach combining theoretical modeling with empirical analysis, often published in top-tier management journals. Professor Dickler teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Sustainability Management, including a bachelor's lecture and practical session, master's seminars, and a specialized practical seminar on Strategic and Sustainable Entrepreneurship conducted in cooperation with JLU Gießen and Ernst & Young. She supervises bachelor's and master's theses through a structured application process that emphasizes methodological preparedness. She collaborates with researchers including Carolin Betz, M.Sc. and works with student assistants. Her research group engages with external partners like Ernst & Young to provide students with real-world case studies and practical business insights.
