Anna Haciuk is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Civil Procedure within the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. She conducts teaching workshops in Civil Procedure while completing her doctoral studies that began in October 2016. Her professional career spans both academic and practical legal domains, with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate law at renowned law firms, and she currently provides in-house legal support to Poland's largest record company. Her research focuses on evidence gathering in civil proceedings, commercial law, corporate transactions, and intellectual property with specialization in music law. She has presented extensively at national and international conferences, addressing topics such as expert testimony evaluation, evidence agreements in commercial cases, civil procedure reforms, and online hate speech protection. Her work bridges theoretical legal scholarship with practical applications in commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes. Anna has contributed to the popularization of legal knowledge through participation in the Lublin Science Festival, organizing court simulation events with creative themes including adaptations of fairy tales like Cinderella to address contemporary legal issues such as online harassment and copyright. Her recent publications (2019-2024) demonstrate consistent scholarly output examining evolving aspects of civil procedure, particularly regarding evidence gathering, expert testimony, and procedural innovations in commercial litigation. She completed her Master of Laws degree in 2016 with a thesis on will verification using expert evidence and has pursued additional professional development including 'Expert in Court' training (2019) and postgraduate studies in banking and finance for lawyers (2021-2022). Her academic journey reflects a commitment to both theoretical legal scholarship and practical legal application across multiple domains of law.
