Prof. Werner Martin is a Professor of Big Geospatial Data Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), affiliated with the School of Engineering and Design and the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy. His research focuses on georeferenced data processing, distributed computing, quantum algorithms, and machine learning applications in geospatial contexts. Prof. Martin holds a doctorate from LMU Munich and has held academic and research positions at institutions including LMU Munich, Leibniz-University Hannover, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and UniBW Munich.
