Stefano Bonaccorsi is a Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics , University of Trento . He serves as both a Director of the Department of Mathematics and a Member of the University Council . His career spans over two decades at the University of Trento, including roles as Associate Professor (2006-2018) and Researcher (2001-2006). Education: Laurea in Mathematics (110/110 cum laude) from University of Pisa (1993), PhD in Mathematics from University of Trento (1998). His research focuses on stochastic analysis , particularly Malliavin calculus , stochastic partial differential equations , and neuronal network dynamics . He has contributed to Volterra equations with Gaussian/non-Gaussian noise, stochastic boundary value problems , and epidemic modeling on networks . His publications span 2017-2025, emphasizing probabilistic representations, optimal control, and network dynamics applications. He actively organizes international workshops including the "Stochastic Partial Differential Equations and Applications" series (2012-2017), "Internet Seminar" on Kolmogorov equations (2006-2007), and "White Workshop on Mathematical Biology" (2009). His teaching includes advanced probability courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, with significant contributions to stochastic differential equations education. Research leadership includes coordinating multiple national projects like "Deterministic and stochastic evolution equations" (2016-2018) and "Neurobiologia stocastica" (2008-10), funded by MIUR, INdAM, and provincial authorities.
