Amy Marvin is an Assistant Professor of Women's and Gender Studies at Hamilton College , specializing in feminist theory , LGBTQ studies , and trans politics . Her research bridges care ethics , humor studies , and trans cultural production , with a focus on ethics of care , subversive humor , and trans community dynamics .
