Angela Kou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in the intersection of quantum information science and condensed matter physics. Her laboratory develops novel superconducting circuit elements and qubits, while also utilizing superconducting circuits to investigate topological materials with potential applications in quantum computing. She actively seeks postdoctoral researchers and graduate students to explore superconducting qubit engineering and quantum material sensing. Her research integrates quantum information , topological materials , and superconducting circuit design . Recent publications demonstrate expertise in fluxonium qubit control , quantum dot Josephson junctions , and parafermion zero modes in exotic heterostructures.
