Carolina Bonastre Vallés is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Madrid (UCM). She holds a PhD in Didactics and Educational Theory from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) with a thesis on musical expressiveness and emotion. Her research focuses on music didactics, innovative educational tools, and pedagogical innovation in digital environments. She has led multiple teaching innovation projects, including the Service-Learning initiative 'Moving Music with Service-Learning for Children' (2022) and collaborated on the R&D project PLECTRUM (2020-2023), which developed software for real-time assessment of musical intonation.
