Claudia Mössenlechner is a Professor and Head of the Learning Solutions Center at Management Center Innsbruck (MCI). She has over 20 years of experience in higher education, focusing on eLearning strategies, leadership development, and quality assurance. As Head of Learning Solutions, she leads the design and implementation of online programs and curriculum development. Previously, she was Head of the MCI Language Center and a Senior Examiner for Business English at the University of Cambridge. Education: She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Alpen-Adria University (2012) and a Master's in Translation Studies from the University of Innsbruck (1995). Her teaching spans tourism management, business administration, and leadership courses both online and on-campus. Research focuses on eLearning frameworks, blended learning models, and digital transformation in education. Key areas include workforce development, assurance of learning (AOL), and international accreditation standards (AACSB, EQUIS). Her work bridges theory and practice, emphasizing practical applications in teaching and organizational change. Recent contributions include exploring AI's impact on academic integrity (2023), pandemic-era online teaching adaptations (2021), and disruptive trends in online education (2018). She has been recognized as CEEMAN Teacher of the Year (2024) and received an IELA Honorable Mention (2018) for ePortfolio initiatives. Leadership roles include Deputy Head of MCI's Academic Council and member of the AACSB steering group. She has mentored over 30 students in bachelor/master theses addressing leadership, tourism management, and workforce challenges. Active in professional networks like Educause and EFMD, she advocates for innovative teaching practices globally. Her work at MCI includes pioneering Austria's first distance learning program in Business Administration (2013) and leading regional ePortfolio initiatives. Current projects emphasize lifelong learning through MOOCs and digital competency frameworks.
