Daniela Eberhardt is a Professor and Dean/Managing Director at the Department of Applied Psychology, Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Previously, she served as Director of Human Resources Management at the City of Zurich (2015-2024) and held leadership roles at ZHAW, including Head of the Institute for Applied Psychology (2008-2015) and Deputy Head of the Human Capital Management Center (2001-2008). PhD in Psychology (University of Constance, 1997) Certified Psychologist (University of Constance, 1994) Degree in Public Administration (Federal University of Applied Sciences, Mannheim, 1988) Her research focuses on organizational psychology, leadership, human resources management, social sustainability, and generational management. She has authored peer-reviewed articles and books exploring leadership challenges, diversity management, succession planning in family businesses, and psychological approaches to HRM. Daniela Eberhardt's career spans academic leadership, public administration, and cross-sector collaboration. She has contributed to publications on generational management, organizational change, and team dynamics, with a particular emphasis on practical applications in leadership and workplace diversity. She co-founded and led research projects on family business succession and organizational development, collaborating with institutions like the University of Konstanz and PennState.
