Jo Dorscheidt is a University Lecturer at the Faculty of Law , University of Groningen. His research focuses on Health Law , with specializations in pediatric care ethics, children's rights in healthcare, and end-of-life decision-making. He has held significant roles as a former alternate-judge in the District Court of Groningen (2008–2018) and member of the Central Committee on Medical Research Involving Human Subjects (CCMO, 2010–2022). He co-founded the Centre for Children's Rights in Health Care within the Groningen Centre for Health Law (GCHL).
