Dr. Bari Bendell is a Professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School. Her research bridges entrepreneurship, strategic innovation, and sustainability, focusing on organizational and individual decision-making. She holds a PhD from Indiana University, an MPP from the University of Southern California, and a BS from Bryant University. Her research explores gender dynamics in entrepreneurship, environmental innovation in family firms, and the psychological impacts of existential risks on entrepreneurial activity. Notable collaborations include work with Liberty Mutual, Swissnex Boston, and Costa Rican ecotourism organizations. Dr. Bendell has received multiple awards for practitioner-oriented research and has published widely in journals like Academy of Management Perspectives and Journal of Business Ethics .
