Andry Maykol Pinto is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Robotics and Autonomous Systems at INESC TEC and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. He earned a Ph.D. (2014) and M.Sc. (2010) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto, focusing on Robotics. Research Interests: His work spans Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, Machine Learning, Underwater Imaging, 3D Reconstruction, and Marine Robotics. He develops advanced perception systems for UAVs and AUVs, focusing on multimodal data fusion, visual transformers, and reinforcement learning to address navigation and reconstruction challenges in offshore and underwater environments.
