Jordi Cuadros Margarit is a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Data Analytics at IQS School of Engineering, Universitat Ramon Llull. He leads the ADAMIQS (Applied Data Analytics and Modeling IQS) research group and serves as Head of Teaching Innovation at IQS since 2017. His academic journey includes positions as Associate Professor (2005-2008) and progression to Full Professor since 2008, following his PhD in Chemistry from URL in 2003. His research focuses on innovative educational approaches, particularly in STEM disciplines. Key areas include chemistry teaching methodologies, development of simulations and remote laboratories, application of data mining in educational contexts, chemoinformatics, and analysis of industrially relevant data. He coordinates first-year programs for multiple engineering and biotechnology degrees and represents IQS on university-wide teaching committees. The trends in his recent publications reveal a strong emphasis on learning analytics, remote laboratory implementation, and educational paradigm shifts in STEM education. His work increasingly integrates data analytics with educational technology to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics, chemistry, and engineering disciplines. As Principal Researcher, he leads significant projects including EDUParadigms-HE (2022-2026) investigating paradigm transitions in university education, 4BSERLA initiatives focused on STEM education with remote labs, and Sustainable Finance and ESG research. His work spans educational theory, practical implementation, and data-driven assessment of learning technologies. His research group ADAMIQS applies data analysis techniques across IQS's knowledge domains including biosciences, chemistry, engineering, and social sciences. The group's work connects his background in chemistry with his current focus on educational data analytics, creating a unique interdisciplinary approach to STEM education improvement.
