Dr. Anna Reiffer is a Lecturer at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at ETH Zürich, affiliated with the Institute for Transport Planning and Systems (IVT). She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, 2024), an MSc in Mobility and Infrastructure (KIT, 2017), and a BSc in Civil Engineering (KIT, 2015). Her research focuses on activity-based modeling, commercial transport dynamics, and the interplay between travel behavior and health. Key projects include the FRESH initiative exploring the freight-shopping nexus in urban areas. Professional experience includes a postdoctoral role at ETH Zürich (2024–present) and research roles at KIT (2017–2024), with a visiting position at the University of Leeds (2022). Her work integrates agent-based models to simulate travel demand and parcel delivery systems, addressing challenges like e-commerce logistics and pandemic-driven telework trends. Teaching contributions include the course 'Transport Planning (Transportation I)'. Research interests span urban freight systems, sustainable mobility, and the application of data-driven methods to transportation policy.
