Dubnov is an Associate Professor of History and International Affairs at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he also serves as the Max Ticktin Chair of Israel Studies and Director of the M.A. Middle East Studies program. Trained in Israel and the U.S., he specializes in twentieth-century Jewish and Israeli history with emphasis on political thought, nationalism studies, decolonization, and partition politics. Dubnov earned his PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2010 and has since established himself as a leading scholar in modern Jewish intellectual history.
