Zhencai Li is an Assistant Professor at Aalborg University's Department of Chemistry and Bioscience, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and Science. His research focuses on disordered and functional amorphous materials, particularly oxyfluoride glass-ceramics. He holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Technology from 2018, specializing in optical properties of oxyfluoride glass ceramics. His work explores crystallization mechanisms, optical properties, and luminescence enhancement in advanced materials. Education: Master of Materials Science and Technology (2015–2018), awarded June 2018, focusing on optical properties of oxyfluoride glass ceramics. Research interests include glass ceramics, luminescence, nanocrystalline materials, and phase separation. His recent studies address topics like β-relaxation in oxide glasses, rare-earth doped materials, and eco-friendly battery recycling. He leads the project "Optical properties of Rare earth doped oxyfluoride glass ceramics" and collaborates internationally on material dynamics and structural analysis. Key research themes include tailoring optical properties via crystal structure tuning, immiscibility in silicate liquids, and low-temperature crystallization processes. His publications highlight advancements in material engineering, sustainability, and sensing applications.
