Matti Häyry is a Research Fellow at the Department of Management Studies, Aalto University. His work focuses on Bioethics, Business Ethics, and the Philosophy of Social Science. He leads research projects such as Bioeconomy and Justice (BioEcoJust) and The Role of Justice in Decisions Concerning Bioeconomy, funded by the Academy of Finland and the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. He also explores innovative education tools like rock operas addressing ethical themes, with works like Orkid and Playing God . Education: Doctoral degree in Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki (1991). Research Interests: Bioethics, climate justice, synthetic biology ethics, and sustainability.
